On the case for considered swag

Spent yesterday at a customer site looking at a cupboard full of unloved branded merch. Lanyards in three colours from three different rebrands. Pop sockets nobody wanted. A mug with a typo nobody flagged. The pattern isn't 'don't do branded merch'. It's 'don't order branded merch the way you'd order stationery'. Two questions before any merch budget gets signed off: 1. Who is the recipient and what do they already carry? 2. Will they still have it in 90 days? If you can't answer both, you're buying landfill with your logo on it.

NFC cards — quietly back

Two months of NFC business card orders is now bigger than two years of standard reprints combined. Not a fad. The people ordering them — sales teams at trade shows, BD leads in regulated industries — keep coming back for second and third batches because they actually get used. If you've not held one yet, ping me. Happy to drop a sample in the post.
